Coming from direction Frankfurt (city or airport, car rental at the airport) take the highway A3 Frankfurt-Würzburg until exit no. 65 "Marktheidenfeld" and then the road to Marktheidenfeld. After crossing the old town bridge follow the main street and the sign(s) "Hotel Anker" at the right.
A shorter and beautiful alternative - less on the highway but more on country roads, however - leads you through the famous Spessart forest. Leave at exit 64. You reach the city again via the old town bridge.

From direction south or east, the shortest way is to take exit no. 67 "Helmstadt" and then the "B8" to Marktheidenfeld. Turn left in the city center at the sign "Hotel Anker".
A very beautiful and rarely longer alternative route leads you from highway exit 66 "Wertheim/Lengfurt" along the river "Main" and the franconian wine country. Arriving in Marktheidenfeld, turn left at the first red light into the main road through the city. Turn left again at the sign "Hotel Anker".

Hotelguests are allowed to drive through the pedastrian area day and night!

By train or by bus: DB travel information

You get the best connection from the ICE railway station "Würzburg" (30 km, 30 min by bus). Next to the station is the bus station, where you get a direct bus to the central bus station of Marktheidenfeld (150 m to the hotel).
From direction Frankfurt consider to exit at Aschaffenburg (42 km, 50 min with the shuttle service). Only for local connections take the station at Lohr (20 km, ca. 30 min. by bus). We have fixed arrangements with several transfer companies (taxi, shuttle, bus) and can offer you a good rate for your transfers.
